Went in only because Marco's around the corner was shut for holidays....big mistake! The young girl behind the till couldn't have cared less about serving us. It felt like it was a problem we were there, we ordered food and not once did i hear a single please or thank you. Her face was longer than the overpriced fish I... More

Went to the Wellington tonight because there was a big queue in Marcos, the food and the service was the worst ever...I wish I had joined the queue! !! I wouldn't give that food to a dog...terrible! !!

Visited the Wellington fish restaurant while on a short break in Ayr we both ordered fish and chips and found friendly service and excellent food with huge portions and reasonable prices.

We had a great meal in here. Girls had fish fingers and chips, macaroni & cheese with chips, I had the Wellington Trio and my wife had fish and chips. Food tastes great and great customer service......

Served by disinterested staff who had no clue about pricing and overcharged me. Food pretty tasteless. I thought this was one of the best Chippies in town. Clearly not particularly given the one round the corner was queued out the door. I'll not return

Our order of 2 Wellington specials costing £9.65 each were promptly taken by a nice friendly waitress and this meal consists of a large plate (ironically shaped like a fish) of Haddock, chips, choice of peas or beans in a separate pot, bread & butter...
