Stopped in for dinner twice while in Ennis. I tried the traditional beef stew one night and fish and chips the other evening. Both were very good, but the stew with brown bread was excellent. I also enjoyed the good selection of beverages. Live music...More

My B&B hosts suggested this venue. I didn't book a table and when I asked the waiter he was happy to find me a table. It was about 7pm and the venue was busy. I had a lovely tasty meal. Great atmosphere and service. I...More

Great bar with a lot of different beers, the Guy knows his beers. If you are sick of Guinness for a whiskey, this is the place to go. Nice music as Well.

We have stopped in a couple of times on different trips and the atmosphere is a good example of a traditional pub with food that goes a bit beyond traditional pub food. A bit of extra flair gives it a culinary extra star, and the...More

We shared a sticky toffee pudding and it was delicious! The staff are friendly and the menu looks like very good value. There is sports/football shown on the screens, (could be a plus or minus depending on who you are). Overall a very good option!

The food was pretty good but the atmosphere was better. Had drinks and meals upstairs. Service was reliable and efficient.

We just went for dinner and found a great atmosphere and great music. The food is not spectacular but good, but the place is a true hallmark of Ennis. Having lived in Ennis 10 years ago, I can vouch for the fact that this is...More

Fantastic vibrant bar with lots of seating in open area and private areas. Plenty of sport on tv's and excellent standard of food for prices paid. Def worth a visit for a drink or some bar food.

Another interesting and visually rewarding Irish pub with the classic victorian dark wood interior and bar area. The street front is also classic, being beautiful ornate woodwork, painted red with black trim. The pub name in gold letters on a black board stretches across the...More
