I visited with a friend 15th February 2017. The place was shabby in need of a lick of paint. The upholstered seating was faded and dirty. The menu didnt mention allergens specifically but stated an allergen list was available. As a coeliac I requested same from waiter who appeared unsure and disappeared only to return to inform me that the... More

My Sister and I had lunch in The Viaduct recently and it was delicious. It was carvery with a great selection to choose from. The portions were huge. We had no room for desert. The staff were nice and friendly. It was very busy as usual but oplenty of room for everyone.

Went to the Viaduct for Sunday lunch after reading positive reviews on other sites. Place was packed for carvary lunch, food selection was good, large portion sizes and average quality. However it's like a large work canteen, decor dated and shabby. We left after main courses to have coffee and dessert elsewhere. Would only recommend if needing re- fuelling quickly,... More

The food was over priced for typical bar food. I met two staff members and they both had a terrible attitude.

Had a quick dinner here before a meeting. Staff very obliging and helpful. Lasagne was enormous with too many extras added- extra cheese, extra sauce, pesto Very tasty though. Enough for two.

We are regular visiors of the Viaduct and I would have to agree with the review about the conditions and more so with the comments about the junior manager.we have taken notice of this gents attitude and his lack of manners towards the customers and its a disgraceful. It's a pity to see how one individual can have such a negative... Lovely food and lovely staff. Great variety of foods and desserts. Prices are decent prices and great portions. Staff are very helpful. We go on a regular basis for carvery, when carvery is over the waitress takes orders at the table. Staff are so helpful and friendly.
