From the roast of the day to the steak on the stone you will always get a great tasty feed - never had a bad meal here - love the scampi and the Wilton frys - huge turnover all day but you always get a table and the staff are regular and helpful

Visited the Wilton Bar for lunch with a colleague recently and i was most impressed with the food and quality of service we received. The bar was fairly busy when we arrived but the chef and his staff were more than capable of looking after each customer politely and efficiently. There was many different options to choose from the carvery... More

Can't complain about this place. Menu has great choice. Portion sizes and food quality are good. Steaks were lovely and soft and their wilton fries were a nice treat. Staff are friendly and efficient. Desert was one of the best I've had in the banoffee pie!! Wouldn't usually think of going upstairs to the restaurant in this place but it... More

I went to the restaurant with my boyfriend. First impression was that the place was cosy. Deep red carpets, curtains and place mats. Old fashioned in one sense but warm at the same time. Our server was very nice. He explained the drinks deal €6 gin and tonic. The menu is quite big so there is a lot to choose... More

Four of us called in on a Monday night, two couples. The men were thrilled because they had" steak on a stone", on offer during the week at 17.95 e. The steaks come to the table sizzling, along with two sauces onion rings, and garlic butter, which can be used to cook the steak to ones own preference. They loved... More

I ordered my sirloin steak medium rare and recieved 3 steaks that where all well done. It turned into a embarrassing meal experience as I had other patrons in the bar asking me what was wrong with the food. At 21.00 euro, which i was charged for is pretty disgusting. if you cant cook a steak to the customers liking i... More

Staff were not interested in helping and I can safely say this was the worst place for vegetarian options that I have ever visited. Never again!! Huge carvery selection with an array of meat dishes however when I asked what was the vegetarian option was I was told a salad. Nothing else available at all and the soup was chicken... More

I went earlier this week with my friend for a catch up over a lunch date. When we got in i ordered my lunch and they told me they would bring it down. My lunch came down and the chips that cane as a side were still crunchy and almost raw. When we asked for some more sauce we were... More

Called in here as I was starving and needed to eat! The portions they served at the carvery were huge. The food was more about bulk than flavor. I was starving so I ate it. The staff were friendly but the flavourless food was a let down. I had the roast beef. Restrooms were clean. Pub served a large selection... More

We went here mid week at lunchtime the carvery was average the chef was using his fingers to pull the string off the beef he had no gloves on and his hands were grubby looking.... The cauliflower was raw and roasties were soapy tasting. We had a terrible job trying to find a clean clear table ended up clearing one... More
