Just dropped in on spec for some lunch and couldn't believe that a cafe of this standard was in Cork for 5 years without knowing about. I was immediately greeted with a lovely warm welcome from Victor who had me seated and served quickly. The quality of the food is the real driver in this cafe and the open view... More

I met a friend for lunch on Friday. There is an extensive selection to choose from and all food is freshly made. As it is not self service it is great to sit down and get table service. Nice friendly staff

Good selection of foods, friendly service and good value for money - what more do you want? There seems to be quite a variety of foods (incl. homemade desserts) on offer, ranging from comfort foods, lovingly cooked "mommy-style", to the healthier end of the spectrum, with a good variety of vegetarian options. Also great for afternoon tea.

First visit here after the usual coffee / snack stops in Cork...handy location just off the main shopping area and in the ground floor of Cork Opera House which is a modern red brick building. Nice atmosphere and a very good menu with a slant towards organic and artisan foods. Wife enjoyed her veggie selection and we visited for both... More

Had lunch here last Saturday. I had never been here before and I was really very impressed. They have an extensive menu from which I had bruschetta and my husband had fish tacos both excellent especially the olive tapenade which came with the bruschetta. Very good service and will definitely be back!

Came here on two occasions for breakfast and for tea and a cake. Ordered their sourdough toast which came with a beetroot hummus and slow roasted oven tomatoes. I'm not big on tomatoes, nor beetroot, but I loved the intense flavours of both on my toast. It was also great value! The other time I came here, I ordered a... More

We ate here last Thursday. Spiced Lentil Soup was to die for along with fresh homemade bread. Hake with veg ragu and mushroom ciabatta were amazing. Full of flavours with lovely mixed leaves. We didn't have any desserts, but coffee was nice and strong. Service was very attentive and lovely. Together with my partner we both noticed, nearly every second... More
