I was here twice in the space of a week, having a meal before the cinema as Eddie Rockets next door was closed. I'm a big believer in second chances, but I've decided against ever giving a place a second chance after this experience. The first time I was there it was a Thursday night. The place was packed and... More

We were going to the Cineworld and wanted to get a bite to eat first. Would have gone to Eddies but it's closed. I've been in the Woolshed for drinks but never tried the food so we figured we'd give it a go. I had the chilli wrap and chips and he had the pulled pork sandwich and chips. The... More

Glad to hear you enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, we've a new menu coming soon so keep an eye out for that. Keeping all the old reliables but adding a few new twists. Thank you for taking the time to post a review, it's very much appreciated. More

Woolshed is great for watching sports, but do make a reservation if there's a big game on. The food is very good here, I highly recommend their Chili wrap, it's to die for!

We do fill up quickly on busy match days, good for the atmosphere though, so making a reservation is a good tip. For really big days such as Ireland v All Blacks we don't tend to take reservations as the first come, first served policy seems the fairest. But always worth dropping us an email to check if we are... More

Thanks for the review, we appreciate it! Have you tried the new burrito menu for lunch? It's something we are thinking of adding to our new full menu. Great to hear from a regular customer. More

This was one of the few options we had to actually watch American football in Dublin. We did get there a bit early in the evening and most of the tables were 'reserved', but after talking I guess to the right people we were able to sit at one of the reserved tables because a 'name' was not on it.... Thanks for taking the time to give us feedback from your recent visit. We are the only bar in Ireland showing so many NFL games so we often reserve tables until we know what game people are looking for. Then we can seat them in front of the right tv or screen for their game, hence the reserved signs with... More

I love this bar, it's great for drinks and food and has a tongue in cheek sense of humour! There is always something fun on too!

Was here the other day and the manager didn't have a clue what I was asking for when I asked for a drink. They got mad and gave me grief cos they didn't know their drink list. Won't be back so so rude

Went on Tuesday 4th Oct, we're happy to discover one of our burgers was free as tuesdays are BOGOF :-) very central and we're able to walk to o'Connell street after. Half n half wings were mighty. Would recommend. Only reason for 4/5 was staff seemed more pushed to clean tables etc as opposed to serving at the bar although... More

Yes, the atmosphere is unique with a Brazilian samba and its concept of "sports bar". However, the draught beer tastes ... different. Is is worth it? Well, the chicken wings are.

Thanks for taking the time to write your thoughts on our business. Would like to explain however that Brazilian night is every Wednesday evening from 10pm, not all day every day. It would be brilliant if you could let us know which of the 19 beers we have on draught you tried? Always appreciate the feedback! Delighted to hear that... More
