Had a fabulous evening yesterday in the Terrace restaurant in NCH. The staff were so friendly and helpful and just could'nt have done enough for us. They made us feel most welcome and are a great bunch. The food was fabulous and we both cleared the plates. Being Valentines night the restaurant had laid on really special touches such as... More

A restaurant in the Country's concert hall - can get busy if there is a program in session. Otherwise a nice stop.

Restaurant with piped awful music when you'd think if they had to impose music on the customers, it the National Concert Hall it might be classical but no, like the restaurant there is no thought involved here. Had the express lunch surrounded by screaming kids. The soup was so over peppered I nearly choked. The staff are pleasant enough, but... More

Was going to concert in NCH and spotted they had a Restaurant. Very bling menu with wonderfully creative descriptions so arrived quite enthusiastic. Nice staff and we opted for special menu of two courses plus coffee for €28. Fish, Chips and Mint Pea Puree. Fish ok (wife's had bones....bad), Triple cooked chips overdone and Pea Puree was vile....lumpy gunk like... More

The Terrace is understaffed and badly managed. My husband and I brought a guest to dinner here recently, my husband and I had starters, our guest did not. When the main courses arrived, my husband and I were served, but not our guest. It proved incredibly difficult to catch a waiter’s eye to rectify this as the staff were rushed... More

Waiters and waitresses were pleasant but totally untrained. Brought bread without the plates and plates without cutlery. Glasses on the table were filthy dirty. Food was badly presented and tasted even worse. The cod and chips was disgraceful.Looked like a reheat from lunch time. The sweet ordered was a chocolate fondant but we received a poor excuse for a chocolate... More

I have eaten in the Terrace Restaurant perhaps 5 times. The most recent was in November, 2015. I had a beetroot starter which was excellent; and then the cod. All the vegetables were very good, plating was superb, but the fish itself was awful, it was vastly overdone and it wouldn't surprise me if it had been warmed up from... More

My friend booked a week in advance for a matinee concert and lunch at the National Concert Hall, Earlsfort, Dublin 2 She booked a specific window table at the Terrace Restaurant which is situated on the right hand side of the foyer. The meal was very poor and service unprofessional. When we arrived our 'reserved' table was occupied. The waitress said... More

Six pm sitting for a leisurely dinner before the Coming of Christmas by the Culwick Choral Society scheduled for eight pm. Had checked out the menu on line before booking so I knew what to expect...my choice of the turkey ham was my first Christmas dinner of the season and I was not disappointed. Excellent presentation and very fresh...however the... More

Although the hotel looked quite basic the food was delightful the burger I had you could tell was freshly cooked and alto the meals were enjoyed and the deserts were brilliant. Very good value for money as we were told they always do specials on show nights.
