Really enjoyed our visit here. It's a small restaurant with nice staff who coax the diners along nicely, so as to keep everything moving. There is a nice atmosphere there, although at busy times it can become quite noisy The menu is extremely varied. We had the sea bass and the recommended pasta of the day which was a meat... More

We tried here based on TA reviews. What a great restaurant. Our starters of the calamari and seafood selection were excellent. The absolute star was their beef dry aged cote de boeuf/bone on ribeye 26oz was probably the best flavoured steak I have had in Ireland I could have cut it with a butter knife. This steak would give a top... Was in there on Tuesday night. Good sign the place was busy during probably the quietest time of the year for restaurants. Food was excellent and reasonable. Waiters were very attentive and knowledgeable. Will definitely go back. I expect it would have to be booked well in advance for a weekend visit

Myself and three others had a stunning meal, both starters and mains were great, excellent wine on offer too and all the servers were excellent. The restaurant is quite small so book ahead if you wish to go.

The 5 of us were squeezed into a very small table and the service was moderate at best. The food, however, was very good especially the pastas and the sauces. My veal was a little tired but the side of pasta that I got with it was out of this world. The special steak my son got was really out... More

Service was just impeccable, super friendly staff and owners made us feel very welcome. The food was fantastic and they were so accommodating to make a dish especially for my wife to work around an egg allergy. The ragu sauce which I had as it was the chef's specialty was probably the best I've had, and my mother is Italian.... More

We travel to Ireland as often as we can as my parents live in the west of Ireland. Whether our return is by boat or plane we try as much as we can to visit Il Vicoletto before returning home. Once again we were not disappointed. Our reservation was for 5.30 on the 27th December and the restaurant was almost... More

I met an old friend here for a chat and a meal and was very annoyed by the way we were treated. The staff hovered at the table (pretending to be Italian charmers) when it was perfectly clear they wanted the table back asap. This has always been one of my 'go-to' places but on this occasion the food was... More

Visited this restaurant with 5 friends last week. Very buzzy as was everywhere in the run up to Christmas. Very small and intimate restaurant. Staff could not have been more helpful. Food was superb - as good as you'll find in Italy itself. Very good range of options, nice choice of wines and lovely desserts! Decided to buy some vouchers... More
