I went here for breakfast with my girlfirend, and it was really quite lovely. The breakfast was fantastic -- bacon, eggs, sausages, a cup of coffee -- and my girlfriend had a vegetarian alternative with which she was very happy. The waiter was also a nice guy. However, I am deducing two points here because I'm not that fond of... More

Hadn't been to metro cafe in a couple of years and this morning realised why...There are so many great cafes in Dublin serving excellent coffee so why does metro continue to serve awful, overpriced, acrid coffee? Stale croissant that came with had seen better days. Great location, just a pity what you get is so third rate.

Busy and bustling little place. We stopped for breakfast and it was perfect. Decent sized portion of everything that you would expect. Staff were really friendly. Even the chefs were shouting hello's and goodbye's.

Nice litre spot nearby St. Stephens Green with good food and friendly staff. Good selection and kind of a cool atmosphere with a french touch.

We spontaneously tried this place for a hangover breakfast on a Saturday morning. They were able to seat the 6 of us, which is good - however it was cramped. My chair in the hallway kept getting bumped into by servers and customers alike. Annoying. The service was slow, we got our orange juice, tea and coffee at the same... More

Had breakfast here on recent visit to Dublin, a very quaint environment that is popular as we had to queue for our table, very generous and cooked fresh to order with some different combinations which is advertised as breakfast with a Parisian feel. The only criticism I have is the size of the tables in comparison to the size of... More

A place where we got a table without a reservation on a Friday evening, however the food was disappointing for a city that seems to be so proud of its gastronomic culture. Portions were big, but quality was poor. Went for a set menu with a free glass of bubbles, which turned out to be non alcoholic. They good for... More

We ate here in the evening and enjoyed a pleasant meal for four. I had a vegetarian warm broccoli salad, my husband and one friend the fish pie and my other friend a beef pie. This was a very friendly restaurant with good service and lovely food. We had a table at the back which wasn't too noisy. The service... More

Great place sit with a coffee and watch the world go by on a weekend afternoon - especially when the sun is shining! Their pancakes are also fantastic!

Highly recommended for lovely food, lovely athmosphere and great customer service. I love eating outside and this is the perfect place for it. Mark made me feel very welcome and the Guinness Pie was to die for. I even got a little doggy bag with a fab white chocolate roulade desert to take away. If you want to sit and... More
