Chez Max is a great French bistro close to city centre, Authentic French fare served by French staff, enjoyed Christmas eve lunch there, Very buzzy with plenty of atmosphere and tasty food, Good service, Great covered outdoor areas at back.

As soon as possible the manger organised... More

Excellent location for mid afternoon break and enjoy a quick lunch some wine and a great dessert, in a very Paris setting. Prices are average.

I have been here a few times and have always had very good French style food. Located in a basement, I think there is a smoking area out back. If you want some homely French food this is very good

Mam had the salmon - I had lamb rump for main course with creme brule and mango and coconut manger for dessert. The food was absolutely devine. Staff... More

I attend here regularly, but if I am honest it's because they have a great cigar smoking area. How ever saying this the food is really nice and the staff are efficient. I often have the steak which is not the best steak in the world but for the price it's definitly worth it. There isa nice menue and an... More

I went there for a dinner. I was expecting much better regarding the menu. My onion soup was just ok and the chicken was very dry.... Staff was unfriendly and a poor seating,, won't go back
