It was good, that is all... The atmosphere is a little cold, I didn't feel as warm and welcome as I would have liked. The sandwich was nice, fresh and pretty tasty... They didn't offer soy milk, which was fine as I had an americano,...More

The worry about revisiting a restaurant is the risk of disappointment. I have visited this cafe for thirty years every time I visit the centre. The decor with its wooden tables, pleasant relevant posters of cultural events and the soft lighting all attract. The rye...More
Simon's Place has been around for years. It's great, as good as ever. Sandwiches are huge and filling. Lighting is nice, as are the posters all over the walls. Nice servers.

Best sandwiches in Dublin- try the avocado if they have any left and love the mushroom salad. The staff are lovely and the cafe itself is really comfy - don't forget there's more seating downstairs as it took me years to discover this!
Friendly obliging staff and owner deliver wonderful soups and excellent sandwiches and salads ,particularly the classic avocado sandwich , to a varied and appreciative Dublin crowd who know the best lunch time haunts . This is one .
