This cafe is located inside the Chester Beatty Library and has a cheerful vegetarian menu. Souple, salads, sandwiches and all reasonably priced. I had curry lentil soup and it was delicious!

We stopped in during our visit to the Chester Beatty Library for some much-needed caffeine. The latte was great and so were the baked goods! They also have tons of great looking Middle Eastern food, so this would be an awesome place to stop for lunch.

I had no idea this place even existed until I found myself at a conference in the Chester Beatty library. Lots of choice for a hot lunch, mediterranean style foods, which I love. Kofte, Hummous, Bean Salads and Moussakas, that sort of fare. Good coffee and Baklava on offer too. Prices are reasonable for lunch and it's a lovely building... More

Absolutely awful. We had the exotic afternoon tea...the warm food was OK but the cakes were stale. Coffee was cold and waaaaay too strong. No one came over to us once we were served to make sure we were getting on ok.wine was like vinegar... the whole thing was just shockingly bad

Tried afternoon tea here with a friend. Lovely atmosphere surrounded by the grounds of Dublin Castle. Selection of Chicken Satay skewers, Moussaka and various pastries. Staff were lovely. We visited the Chester Beatty Library beforehand. Well worth a visit. Take a stroll outside and visit the Gardai memorial garden.

Feeding the newly minted vegetarian, the hard-to-please 11-going-on-irritating year old and me the food snob is no ones idea of fun. Silk Road did it with aplomb. Veggie omelette was savory, spinach and lentil soup delightfully smooth and falafel excellent.

Even if you don't have time to visit the excellent Museum, a meal in this café is a must. Gorgeous food from across several countries at an excellent price. The portions were massive.

This was an unanticipated style of food but lovely. A good selection of Mediterranean food available in large and small portions. Service a bit inefficient but staff friendly and helpful. It is set in one of the most wonderful museums in Dublin that houses a priceless collection of European, Persian and far eastern treasures. Give it half a day of... More

Came here straight from the airport as I'm on a very short business trip, the vegetarian moussaka was delicious, portion sizes are huge (I had a half portion which is the same as abnormal meal elsewhere).
