and that surprised me. We should have understood something was wrong after having to send back 4 glasses for having lipstick and/or coffee in them and the waiter was running back and forth like there was a fire in the kitchen. Most people were only drinking, not eating, which in hindsight made sense. Because we were really hungry and in... More

Recently in Dublin on business and wandered over to Dawson. Always have at least one meal at the main dining room at La Stampa, this time we tried the Asian dining room downstairs, fabulous decor, even better service and the food was excellent. Terrific choice.

Booked dinner on a Friday night for 4 people. Restaurant was quiet which surprised us for such a central location. Starters were awful. Would get better in the freezer dept at Iceland. Mains weren't much better. Rubbery chicken. We gave feedback but they ignored it. Never going back.

Very nice place and nice bar as you go in but service is poor. Portions are very small for the price you pay I had duck and it was 20euro small amount off meat. They should try Baan Thai for a few tips amazing food at good prices

They served us a tasty meal at 10:30pm when no other restaurant would serve us. We didn't realize most kitchens in Dublin close at 9pm. They didn't rush us, there was a lot of food on our plates, it was tasty and they were extremely nice.

Excellent food, very nice decor, pleasant atmosphere. The only drawback to our meal was chaotic service: served by 6-7 different people: main course took 40 minutes to get to us and when it came it was for next door's table. Too may waiters instead of one concentrating on the table.

The interior is very relaxing and comfortable. The menu was extensive and there was plenty of options. The food was very tasty and portions were very big. Staff were friendly and the cocktails were very good. Only thing that bothered me is that a waiter knocked one of our drinks on the table - he apologised straight away but never... More
