My first visit here since it reopened and really enjoyed it. Good atmosphere, attentive staff and beautifully decorated room. The hot chocolate is served with great attention to detail, accompanied by 3 shot glasses filled with cream, marshmallows and chocolate shavings! The cakes and scones...More

I would totally recommend the local cakes that they make. Lovely! The staff were ok, not over friendly. Overall I would return.

So we knew that Bewley’s Oriental Cafe wasn’t a Chinese restaurant, but wanted to visit it on our daughters recommendation. Strange thing is, on my last two separate visits to Dublin, I ventured past it on both occasions assuming that that was what it was!...More

We visited Bewleys recently on a Saturday afternoon to get a drink and a cake. When we arrived it was very very busy, which isn’t surprising for a weekend. We queued for about 15 minutes before getting a table. The atmosphere was quite busy and...More

Description
Bewley’s Grafton Street, one of Dublin’s most iconic and celebrated landmarks, has reopened its doors. Following a multi-million- euro refurbishment, the much-loved cafe has been restored to create a bigger, brighter and better-than-ever customer experience. As well as serving the very best coffees and teas, many elements of the original cafe have been carefully restored including the Harry Clarke windows, the historic front facade of the cafe and the open fireplaces. There are also many new additions to the cafe including the complete refurbishment of Johnson’s Court and an expanded in-cafe bakery which will allow visitors to see some of Europe’s finest pastry chefs and bakers create the unique and delicious treats on offer, including the beautiful Bewley’s Cafe Gourmand, Coffee Opera Cake and, original favourite, the Bewley’s Mary Cake.
