This is a typical Irish pub. albeit with a pretty broad menu, lots of draft beer and an amazing bartender--Daniel. Food we very good, the atmosphere was wonderful and Daniel made the visit---Had us behind the bar for pictures, told us lots of stories about Dublin, and was an amazing guy--wish we had found this place earlier in out visit.

After walking in a circle for 45 minutes trying to find a place that would allow children to dine after 8pm we found Doheny & Nesbitt. It is a large warm pub with amazing food and great service. We had the irish stew with huge chunks of lamb in it and whole potatoes. The kids had beef sliders which were... More

With some free time on a pleasant afternoon with some hunger pangs I decided to pop into Donny's as it's known. I had seen the chicken wings being delivered and they looked good. Asking the member of staff were they very sweet or spicy I was duly told spicy. A generous portion arrived but as I lifted the wing to... More

A great bar but not throwing with tourists in the middle of the city, they serve good beer and local charm and what else would you like from a pub.

I was here with a group of mates for a quick drink, lovely atmosphere and the staff were lovely and so friendly, especially James, I don't think I have met a nicer barman in Dublin for a long time.

This is one pub I love to visit. It's got great atmosphere. The decor is old world. Plenty of nooks and crannies for privacy. The pints are always excellent and the staff very helpful efficient and courteous. It's a very well run establishment. We decided to eat there on this visit and we're very pleased wth our choice. A good... More

Arrived in the afternoon and was lucky enough to find a table across from some of the snugs (nooks from which, in the old days, women could socialize away from the men). My waitress was friendly, chatting up Dublin and asking about my plans for the trip. Though cliche, I was in the mood for fish & chips, which were... More

The pub is a historic, old pub with rugby and soccer history. The old front bar has old booths and partitions while the back bar is larger and suited for groups of 6 or more. great rugby weekend pub. Not to be missed.

Visited here with friends. Has not changed in years still the great standards maintained. Good friendly service and good pints. So much so decided to stay and have dinner. Lovely Brazilian waitress so friendly. Great food enormous portions. Always a great place for atmosphere especially around sporting occasions like the rugby. One of my favourites in Dublin . Recommended.

We had just arrived in Dublin and were looking for a bite to eat. This was a great discovery, food was delicious, staff were so genuinely friendly and prices very reasonable. A great buzz as we were there at lunchtime which just got busier and busier. It looks very small from outside but just grows and grows once you are... More
