I have been here before and I really like this place. I was here very recently with friends for a couple of drinks and yet again, the atmosphere was buzzing. It always seems to be busy with locals and that's a testament to its popularity. It's in a very central location where you can easily have a drink or three... More

The only thing remotely charming about this pub is its exterior. For visitors to Dublin city, i recommend they try any of the thousands of good bars to be found on virtually every street corner...places that do actually offer you friendly and efficient customer service, value for money, decent bar food, clean and comfortable surroundings. But if you like dirty... More

Great Guinness.. Great selection of beers.. great place for a meet up an a pint.. tho it often seems to go on a while! less touristy than the main Temple bar haunts.. no food.. just beer! (they do food at really busy times like St Patricks day etc..

Watched the rugby match here on Saturday afternoon, bar staff are surly but serve contempt to customers in bucket fulls. Waved to attract one of their attention and one of the team waved back at me, i work in the trade and was shocked at the service we received. I will never come back here. The lasting impression I left... More

Our relations brought us here on a culture / pub crawl around Dublin. We'd taken in Dublin Castle, now it was time to get down to business. I've been in many bars around Ireland and Northern Ireland. Foggy Dew is one of their favourites. It's easy to see why. Although it is a bit unassuming inside, the cosines and friendliness... More

While this is a nice, intimate pub where the food is satisfactory and a good price, it is totally let down by the fact that the toilets are down some stairs where the doors are also open and you can get a waft of the gents from nearly everywhere in the place! Won't be in a hurry to return.

Stopped for a burger (nice enough, but thin frozen bag chips). Good Soave, lots of local laughter and a good vibe. Even the constant music is cool. They left me alone, a good place to meet and talk. They say night time it really hops, I believe it. Nice old fashioned feel with huge long bar and plenty spaces to... More

Went here on a Saturday and it was great. Tried to walk in from Crow street on the Sunday and was told we had to walk in the front door around the block! Didn't make any sense at all considering we ended up at the same bar inside, 5 metres in the door! Terrible service from a security point of... More
