The Lobster Pot is like a wonderful trip back in time. The ambience and decor is from several decades ago - but delightfully so ! The service was terrific and the food excellent. Don't miss it!

Fish restaurants in Dublin have a mixed history. Some come, shine briefly, then go. The Lobster Pot goes on......and on...........and on. There is a good reason for this - the food is excellent, with a superb range of beautifully cooked and presented classic fish dishes complimented by a loyal, long serving staff and a charming old dining room where standards... The menu was presented professionally and fish was very fresh. All courses were delicious and service was excellent. However for two starters and two mains the price was quite expensive-we could've eaten twice in the city center. Quality is what you pay for!
Well, long story short. The place is nice, the staff is excellent, the price on the menu lack a zero and the taste of the lobster reminds me of the smell of the yearly cleaning of my sinks.
Love this place. Keep going back time after time for the food and the service of the wonderful staff. The very best prawn tempura and the baked duck - is wow. The guys serving have such wonderful experience with quality service. A treasure in Dublin 4.
I brought some important overseas clients to this gem of a restaurant in the heart of dublin. Ive been here a couple of times before and it has always been superb. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are extremely professional and attentive. The quality of the food is outstanding and whilst it is obviously marketing itself as a seafood... More
