I took some American clients here yesterday. We had some great fun with the bar man allowing one of the Yanks to pull his own pint of Guinness. Go here. You'll enjoy it.

Located next to the Westbury Hotel and across the street from Bruxelles you are bound to run into this place if you are pub crawling. This is a nice quiet place to get a pint and the owner is very friendly.

Stumbled on this pub during a night out on a stag doo. It's just a simple drinkers pub. Well at least it is downstairs. We stayed downstairs and had a bit craic with the locals. They were very friendly and happy to have a laugh with us. Go here to have a nice quiet pint with yer mates before heading... More

This bar was recommended to us by a local. We went during a non busy time and it was still busy. Drinks were good- comparable to your average bar here in Dublin. The inside was unique I believe.

Dropped in to McDaids before the rugby and it was packed. Traditional Irish pub with walls similar to a lovely Trinity college library and good Guinness. Small but very likeable little place

This typical irish bar looks as if time has stood still inside. Lots of great photos on the walls and a great atmosphere. We visited mid afternoon so it was fairly quiet but I'm told it gets very crowded so choose you times to visit. Its not big inside but being just off Grafton St its a must visit.

If you spend a few days in Dublin, this pub needs to be on the to-do list. It's one of those almost ancient pubs that have dark wood panelling everywhere bar the floor. Behind the bar are shelves full of Irish spirits as well as all the standard ones. Wherever you look is something to talk about and they've got... More

Nice, old style pub with a decent pint. A busy spot most of the time. Pint is overpriced though so you won't be spending all night here.

Dropped into this pub with some friends on a Thursday late afternoon there was a good crowd this would not be hard as the premises is small. Once inside you get the old Dublin charm of a pub stood still in time nothing has changed in the 25 years since I was last there. Pints are reasonably priced staff are... More
