The place is located in a busy shopping area and sits on a busy corner. It's clean and friendly and comfortable seating. Many private sections and outdoor seats. The food was good and the service was very good. The price was very fair.

I first discovered The Palace about 30 years ago as a student and have been an occasional visitor since. It's a real Irish Pub full of history and character, and thankfully has survived the way. Guinness has always been good and theres nothing like a few pints on a rainy afternoon in the back room.

We stopped in for a Guinness and ended up staying a few hours, chatting it up with the barkeep about the anything and everything. He helped us find a great whiskey and we ended up getting recommendations to another place to spend the evening. Great Pub!

Spent a weekend in Dublin and this became the favourite bar to drop into between other activities. As well as the usual bar selection, the whiskey range is phenomenal and the staff were friendly and helpful.

This is a small pub with a quaint traditional feel. Fell in love withe decor. People behind the bar friendly and knowledgable about their drinks.

Was in Dublin for 2 nights in October. Having previously visited the city I was keen to avoid the busy area of Temple bar, which I disliked because of its insane prices and large amounts of tourists. Having done a bit of research online we narrowed down a few bars we wanted to go to. Palace bar was one of... More

The Palace is a tiny little pub with a small room on the first floor and a small whisky bar on the second floor. They have a great selection of Irish Whisky and the staff are friendly. Their house whisky, in particular the most recent 12 YO Port Cask, is quite nice.

I came just for a quick pint of beer. The inside of bar is so nice. You can just sit and enjoy the interior.

Spent several days visiting the Palace, it has great old world Dublin charm and especially on Christmas Eve the atmosphere was fantastic with people dropping after getting theirs last presents and having a few libations. If you want real Dublin old charm go to the Palace

This pub is probably the same as its always been. Worth a pint just to see the bar and the whiskey collection
