We were able to get a table during St. Patrick's festival. They have almost continuous, fabulous live music. 100 sandwiches, whiskies, and beers to choose from. Surprised how good the food was for a pub. Table service prompt despite the crowds. So happy we got in the best pub in the city.

Visited The Temple Bar during a short visit to Dublin, i must admit i had not seen or experienced anything like this before. Both me and my wife had a great time sipping over Irish coffee and a glass of Guinness. The vibe and the ambience was just right for nice lazy drinking outing. I usually do not like Nachos... More

The Music was poor and the singing of the main singer was average. I felt there was little or no atmosphere. There could have been improvement in the furnishings. It was at out like a 'slop House's, cram as many in and have as many tables and chairs as you could possibly have. I will not be back.

Popped over to Dublin for the day from Essex. Temple bar is always a must and you can't go there without having a drink in the temple bar pub. Yes it's touristy and as such overpriced but it's also amazing. 4pm on a Monday afternoon the place is buzzing. Live Irish music. It's brilliant.

The first pub we stopped at in Ireland--it was cozy and a great spot for lunch and a beer. I know many people say it is touristy, but it really is the quintessential Irish pub and a must-see. When we stopped in here, we were very jet-lagged from our flight over from California. The bar-tenders were so friendly, entertaining, witty,... More

We spent a couple of evenings here and guess you'll find it hard to get a better atmosphere than here. The pub is very busy though and it's difficult to get a seat if you need one, like some oldies! They had a duo on both nights who played great music, and for a busy pub we surprisingly got served... More

Really beautiful pub but plenty of tourist and therefore overpriced. 7,5 euros for a lager pint and 6 euros for a Guiness. There are better pubs in Dublin.
