9 of us for dinner, very busy but service great. Food was spot-on and well cooked. Good and not too expensive wine choice.

I was looking for this type of restaurant for quite some time now. It is old-fashioned classic with red velvet chairs, dimmed lights and private tables for couples to enjoy. You have a feeling that time stopped there and you can hear Sinatra music, see women in pencil dresses with cigarette holders in their hands and scent of heavy expensive... More

With expectations of an old and slightly jaded restaurant I was pleasantly surprised. The starter of prawn and sambuca risotto was lovely, not overpowered by the sambuca at all, possibly a tiny bit overcooked but otherwise good. The rib-eye steak was a fine piece of meat, cooked a little bit more than the rare I ordered, and the accompanying veg... More

Had a lovely early evening meal here before visiting the NCH. Good choice from set menu and a la carte, Risotto very good!

Excellent, we had 2 great steaks that were cooked perfectly, the atmosphere was nice, very busy which makes it more cosy. The waiter suggested a great wine. Couldn't speak more highly of our experience.

This place oozes atmosphere. We booked the table for 5.15pm and this is recommended. It was a Wednesday evening and although we were almost the first to arrive after it opened the place was full when we left. The service and waiter were fun and polite conversation. The food from the Pre Theatre menu was delicious and just enough and... More

Trocadero have the best steak and creamed spinach. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed. You really do feel comfortable and that is down to both the service and management. I have been eating here since 2005 and it has never lost its place in my heart.

Booked the Trocadero for a late graduation dinner with the family, and the front of house accommodated us despite it being valentines weekend! We arrived and seated downstairs by the manager/owner in a very nice spot near the front of the restaurant downstairs with lovely booths and we could see outside. It was a bit of a wet night so... We have been to Trocadero many, many times over the years for all the special occasions in our life but unfortunately we were very disappointed last night with the pre theatre menu. Starters were delicious but from there it went downhill. I had the hake which was over done and my husband had the rib eye ( med rare). His... More
