On my second romantic trip to Dublin, my new partner and I researched Chinese restaurants and found a gem! The food was out of this world, (try the Double Duck dish and if you like a bit of spice the Basil chilli was superb!) In...More

If you choose to sit at a teppanyaki table be prepared to interact with your host and others at the table. The chef will be cooking food in front of you, while cracking jokes and asking questions. The chef then goes around the table making...More

Had lunch with my 3 year old daughter here yesterday and was a bit disappointed. We had the pad Thai noodles and some sushi but neither was particularly great compared to other Asian restaurants around the place. Staff were lovely though.

Description
Chai yo is split into two sections, upstairs we have three teppanyaki (hibachi) tables where the chef entertains and cooks in front of you. Down stairs we have the more conventional restaurant sitting. We serve a variety of asian cuisines such as teppanyaki, sushi, thai curries and chinese food. We love to cater for large groups at the teppanyaki tables where we can accomodate up to 40 ppl on the three tables. Dont forget every night we have singers and a guitarist to help you celebrate that perfect night.
