If you want to experience a local pub, this is it. Friendly atmosphere, nice service, good food. Don't fall into the tourist's trap in Temple Bar...venture into the north side to discover nice places like this one!

Nice pub in the centre of Dublin by the Liffey. We've been here this week for lunch: it's a quiet place and even if from the outside seems small, it is a two-floors pub with many tables and seats. We drunk two Irish traditional beers...More

Sure enjoyed the food, even though the potatoes and cabbage were bland. Otherwise, cottage pie and corned beef was out of this world. It was so delicious, and the staff was super friendly.

A fun pub that sprawls deep into libations and atmosphere. We entertained lunch here and it was delicious definitely worth a stop. I’d wager a guess that this place is jumping when the student from Trinity let out!

We've been to O'Connels three times in two years. Each time we met interesting, friendly, welcoming people eager to share information about themselves and Ireland. The fish and chips are top class, the deserts are wonderful.

Im the type of person who uses tripadvisor to decide where I eat on vacation with a little wiggle room of going to a place without planning to do so. Im a picky eater so I don't want to be the person who walks into...More

My wife and I went here for a drink and stayed for dinner. We arrived on a Friday evening, the place was about 75% full. When we left, it was full. We stopped in for a drink and the service by Tracy was excellent as...More

I’ve travelled to Dublin 4 times, 3 of which have been for the Ireland home fixture in the Six Nations rugby tournament. I was recommended the bar from friends who went on a previous trip and I was not disappointed! During the last 6 years...More
