I was brought to Bistro One by customers during a trip to Dublin. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, our coats taken and we were shown to our table. There was a nice choice of set or a la carte dishes. We all chose different dishes, with the ham hock croquettes and mustard being especially good. For main, the steak... More

Has been a favourite for years. First visit for a while, and not close to its best. Was surprised to secure a table, with little notice,on a Friday night. Not too busy, also unusual. Atmosphere a bit drab and food, not up to its usual high standard. My fish was over cooked. A little disappointed

Nice fresh food and good service. Some portions looked small but there was actually plenty. Very busy and which tells its own story. Parking can be tricky as it's on street and limited. Worth a try but booking recommended.

We chose the venue casually on a recent Sunday and called ahead to see if they had a spare table. They did, but only just. The restaurant was very busy. On arrival we were shown to a nice table for two, nicely laid with good linen (including linen napkins) and were offered filtered water and some very fine breads to... More

Bistro One now offers a sumptuous Sunday Lunch - always based on top quality fresh ingredients, the very best culinary skills and delicious dishes. The slow cooked shoulder of lamb is special and I have a brother-in-law who swears that he has never tasted a ham dinner as good. Customer service is delivered by the entire staff under the leadership... More

I enjoyed another excellent meal with friends in Bistro One, that little gem in Foxrock village, which never fails to produce the most delicious food at affordable prices. We chose from the menu €29 for 3 courses and it was superb. A short menu which can be a blessing, offering perfect choice - my starter of endive with blue cheese,... More

Bistro One never fails to deliver on taste, style and service. The staff are friendly, efficient and very attentive. Their menu has something to suit every one. Really good wine selection. It's a little small but it's cute I like it. Highly recommend
