I went there for lunch and it was fab. The bread is supplied by a Baker from Glasthule. It is lovely to see that they use the Baker in Glasthule and keep the business in the area. I have spoken to a good few people who buy from the Baker in Glasthule and then have their lunch in Poppies and... More

We only called in for a coffee and a cake but we received great service. The staff were very friendly and the muffin was tasty. They made a great cappuccino.

Wonderful short breakfast that includes eggs, ham & sausage and toast. A good amount of food. Had a mocha coffee and bought a chocolate chip muffin & berry scone. The staff is very friendly. I recommend this down to earth cafe.

Poppies is now my favourite cafe in Dun Laoghaire, you should try the beef and guinness pie it's amazing and there coffee is nice, strong and locally brewed. But also the staff are so friendly and welcoming they made me feel right at home. Would recommend this to anyone who thinks they know a good cafe.

Welcomed in from the rain by cheery faces. Service was impeccable and the manager and Co worker were very attentive. Keith and Emily wished us a good day. Would go back.

Have recently moved into Dub Laoghaire, and found this place on the way to Peoples Park. It is a really nice, friendly, comfortable place, with really nice food and coffee/tea. Nice homemade style food which is good quality. Will go back

I had breakfast here as the places I used to visit on my trips are not open on Sundays. It was a real surprise. Breakfast was really good. All of the ingredients were tasty and perfectly cooked. The cafe doubles as a take away with very good coffee, tempting pies and cakes. It has the feel of a local cafe... More
