Lovely little bistro in the southern suburbs of Dublin serving delicious food - King Prawn starter was out of this world, presentation and taste 😁 Would've happily had it as a starter and main 😁 Beef Bourguignon absolutely recommended - came as described and tasted as good. Le Monde also caters for children with the same quality and attention to... More

Lovely place to eat, nice setting and friendly staff, my second visit as good as my first, situated ideally across from Dun Laoghaire DART station

Although the bistro is only a couple of hundred metres from the railway station it can be easily missed as u walk along Crofton Road. We didn't and as a result we benefitted from an excellent lunch. Chose from a variable choice the in-house shepherd's pie. Proper lean minced lamb with potato slightly scorched and dabs of mint puree around... More

....or several plates actually! A good selection of world foods, all of those selected were very attractively served and plenty on the plate. Tastes were as good as the visual presentations..... Service very helpful and attentive throughout the evening and would most definitely return for a second helping and recommend. Only negative comment, deserts choices very limited with some being... Visited this restaurant by chance and so glad we did, the food is superb. The presentation is beautiful nearly a work of art allowing your eyes to feast before your tastebuds. We had chicken wings, more than plenty for a starter, bruschetta and prawns to start. Then beef bourguignon, totally melt in your mouth, chicken supreme, a picture on a... More

Visited Bistro le Monde for a family meal which wasn't great. We feel they are trying too hard and mixing too many flavours. Sea bass was over cooked, pizza had too much cheese. Beef bourguignon was relish but eton mess was very strange. Aniseed fruit compote awful and mint flavour meringues weren't our idea of an eton mess. Based on... More

Its pretty OK for the prices they charge. Nothing extraordinary but nice. Table for 4 set menu for 2 for all of us with beer and half bottle wine and 3 Irish coffees to close with yielded a bill for €160. Main courses were 2 pizzas and 2 beef bourguigon. Tasty. Prawn starter was good but not out of this... More
