This is my favorite haunt in Galway to catch up with old friends. The staff make you feel at home and the crepes are lovely.

And congrats on the new couch!! YEs to is a lovely place to spend a few hours with a hot chocolate, or wine, and some nice crepes , including of course the really thing- gluten free- for any coeliac a out there! Yum. Staff as always, well chosen and food reasonably priced, still.

I absolutely adore Java's. I go in now and then for little meals, and I totally recommend eating upstairs if you do go along - the stairs are very steep, so hang on to the handrail, but it's cosier and cuter upstairs than downstairs. The crepes in Java's are just to die for - they're traditionally made, and the savoury... More

Crepes to die for! Java oozes ambience and atmosphere. A varied menu with something to suit everyone. Sit back and enjoy the great food/drink and the wonderful hospitality of the friendliest staff in Galway. Yvette and the gang will be happy to see you.😍

Myself and my older brother popped in here for a chicken melt at about 1:45am. Two nurses asked could they join our table as it was busy. Here I am 11 years later with x3 beautiful children and one of those nurses as my wife. Worth a trip for sure.

There's a girl that works there and she's the bomb. She has black hair and kinda seems alternativey looking.. she's really cool and seems to enjoy working there, knows about the wines, made her recommendations and is very friendly with customers! She made us feel really welcome to be there, so shoutout to her! The crepes were lovely.. but too... More

This is one of my favourite spots to hop in to in Galway, on my own, with a book or a paper, for coffee and various assorted breads and pastries. But I've also gone for their lovely crepes at lunchtime, and sometimes, before or after the theatre as well, just for coffee/tea. (It is not the kind of place where... More

I used to love this place. But recently there have been crumbs and sticky stains on the tables. Today I went in and after sitting down I got someone else's whip cream from their food up my wrist. It was really gross. So I asked if the server could clean my table or give me a rag to clean it... More
