Absolutely nothing was left on our plates, but the bones from the chicken wings! Great atmosphere with a lovely fire going in the fireplace and good service.

Came here for breakfast prior to going for an all day drive and we weren't disappointed. Fabulous full Irish breakfast with lots of tea. Good service and comfortable surroundings. Not that it makes any difference but I couldn't tell from the decor or furniture whether it was primarily a bar or a restaurant.

I called in here after a lovely stroll along the promenade with my wife. After growing up in Galway and not coming back for years it was just lovely to call into a place that had warmth and the Galway charm I missed. We ate and watched the rugby. The food was was lovely. My wife had the beef burger... More

we'd heard that the place had been taken over again. we ordered our meal- it didn't take long to come down- we noticed that there were no s&p or condiments on the tables - didn't take long to work out why - the food was salted to high-heaven. dead simple - we vote with our feet - we're in salthill... Visited early in evening so it was quiet. Chicken wings and calamari to start which was fine. Burgers were great but one of us was unhappy with stir fry and mentioned it to staff. Apologies from staff and no charge which was a great way to deal with it without fuss. Certainly family friendly!

Old style nice restaurant with friendly staff and tasty food. I have visited this place twice and both visits were very pleasant. Good traditional food, very professional service. The only one problem was the quite long time waiting.
