We were very happy we ended up at The Quay for dinner on our first night in Galway. It is a very lively place with fantastic live music! The bar upstairs is quite crowded but you'll be able to grab a Guinness pretty quickly and...More

The Quays is such an iconic Galway pub renown for great music and atmosphere but would not eat there again. Had chicken curry and rice yesterday and it was awful, don't want to get descriptive than that, totally disappointed.

Ate here because it was in one of our Ireland guide books. Very disappointing. Fish and chips had no flavor. Steak was a fatty mess. Very busy. Place felt very crowded.

Nothing wrong with it, but nothing exceptional. I wasn't hungry and they allowed me to order off the children's menu, so that was good.

We visited The Quays this weekend. The portions are huge and the food is good quality, fresh Irish food. I had the egg mayo for starters and the fish and chips for mains. Unfortunately the fish did have some bones in it but it was...More

We have never been able to have dinner here cause the kitchen closes at 20.30 and there were always too many people. If you want to dine here you need to book a table. Guinness's pint is only 4,60euro. Traditional live irish music every night....More
