Had lunch here today, and it was simply the nicest BLT I've had in years. Served on focaccia bread, the bacon was crispy with no fat - a huge plus to me, as I find it disgusting. I asked for a pit of tea because I was frozen, and I got a lovely decent size pot of tea, and was... More

I stopped in here for a quick lunch and it was really tasty - a baguette with goat's cheese, salad and all sorts of tasty bits. Quite outstanding really for a small meal. I also bagsed a table looking out the front window so it was great for people watching.

I have so much love for this restaurant. Its so cosy and inviting it's a hidden gem. I visit here quiet often on my lunch breaks and I have never had a bad meal. My favourites are the lemon sole and the fish cakes! Just delicious. The service is fast and the staff are so friendly. Ideal place to visit... More

Our second night in Galway we decided to try Cooke's a nice restaurant in a beautiful building. We drank some good wine and had something different than fish and chips and shepherd's pie. i tried the Homemade Beef Burger with bacon, cheese, tomato and lettuce and it was quite good. Diane's Irish Chicken Fillet was even better. It was served... More

We passed the restaurant during our visit of Galway and went in. The lamb was the best I ever had and also the mussels were delicious! We ordered 4 different meals plus appetizers and were satisfied with all of them. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very private and cozy. We've been so satisfied, we had to go there... We had dinner here. We were sat at a table right in front of the bar and check in and take our pick up location so dinner was anything but intimate. Unfortunately the patrons arriving felt like loud talking was ok. The food was fine but the experience mediocre.

This little restaurant has bags of character. Staff were warm and welcoming - clearly enthusiastic about the food and appeared to enjoy serving us. The seafood chowder was excellent.
