I ate here during my visit to Galway and the food and service were really good. Really big plates at a good price. Staff is really nice and orders go fast! Really good place for some Irish Food!

This is not a world class five star restaurant, but they serve authentic Irish food, just what we were looking for. I had the Irish Stew, that came with multiple vegetables and was so filling, there was no room for dessert (we did make room for a Guinness though!). This is pub food at its best, and we were thoroughly... More

Eat here, advertised as oldest pub in Galway. Provides Irish meals, we had Irish Stew. Good value and service, Tiny, so take your chances on getting a table, we were there on a Thursday and in March so no problems.

Absolutely adore coming here! The goujon of Irish chicken is delicious! Craving it as we speak! Lovely staff! Food is served quickly, presented well, large portion size and at seriously affordable prices!!! Will continue to be returning every time I can in the future!!

Myself and my boyfriend went to Finnegans for lunch today. My boyfriend had the seafood chowder and got food poisoning. He has been so sick all evening from it. Would not recommend going here.

It's great for students on a budget and want a nice home cooked meal. Staff is really nice and it's in a great location in town

We caught this p[lace just before it closed and the staff were excellent in accomodating us. We wanted some basic Irish fare and that was what we got. Very reasonable prices and piping hot food. Goodish selection of drinks. Shepherds Pie and Stew were our main dishes and these were good. Would visit again if in area.

We stopped here for lunch and had an amazing meal - shepherd's pie, bangors and mash, and beef stew. Then dessert! It was fabulous and delicious, staff was gracious and kind. Definitely a local spot with kids and families enjoying meals together, I will definitely be going back and have recommended to friends and family.

Have been a few times, good for home cooked food. Big portions and nice staff and atmosphere. But both me and my partner felt very nauseous and got sick after dinner there one night. Not the highest quality and they charge for MiWadi (?!). Not many gf options either. Not high on my list after getting sick.
