Anton's is a perfect place for breakfast! The place is quite small but very charming with the art exhibition on the wall and turquoise floor. Coffee is excellent and there are different kind of breakfast choices - something for everyone. Also the cakes are delicious, some even glutenfree. Price and quality meet perfectly, also staff is very friendly!

My husband and I have been going to Anton's for lunch almost every Thursday for 2 or 3 years when we are in Galway during the summer months. We have always enjoyed our meal, and the service has been very good. This year I have had their special, a crayfish salad, at least five times - it has always been... More

Service very poor recently.2 ladies beside also treated very badly. It was one of those occasions where things got so bad and so chaotic that we all ended up laughing to ourselves. The 2 ladies couldn't believe no ham for simple ham/cheese at 2.30pm on a weekday.(supermarket across the road)Customer service left a lot to be desired.

Visited for lunch recently. As we sat down, we could hear one of the counter staff argueing quite loudly with a customer. The customer had not raised her voice, just the staff member. Not a good impression to start with. They listed a crawfish and avocado salad on their special lunch menu. It was served with very nice brown bread.... More

I reviewed Antons 18 months ago after being there a few times and being disappointed with all aspects but I'm glad to report that it's back to its original good standards. Antons does good food, good coffee and it has a charming atmosphere. It's a great spot for breakfast/brunch where the scrambled eggs and feta cheese are superb. Good salads... More

We wanted something other than your normal full irish/greasy fry up. And Antons couldn't have done better french toast and pancakes. Good coffee and good atmosphere. I'll be back soon.
