We ordered the cajun chicken wraps which come with chips and a side salad garnish. The food was delicious, nicely presented and my husband and I were really full after this. What I really liked about The Fig Tree though was the fact that they...More

During a day trip to Kilkenny, we stopped here for a light lunch. I had the BLT which was delicious - lots of bacon. There are three floors, so lots of seating, but the restaurant doesn't feel huge. All of the sandwiches come with a...More

We visited the Fig Tree Sunday lunch time in July. We had delicious coffee cake and chocolate fudge cake washed down with a really good americano coffee and a mighty oreo milkshake. The service was excellent.

My family stumbled upon the Fig Tree and loved it! They've got vegan and vegetarian options, and the setting is pleasant. 3 floors in total. We were frustrated that they didn't accept €100 notes; besides this the service was very good.More

Was in Kilkenny for a short time on a tour and just wanted to seat in a quiet place and eat a decent meal. I got that at the Fig Tree. Lovely food and service.

Disappointing lunch. I had salmon and prawn salad which was a little over priced for what it was, with the salmon hiding a heap of lettuce that was brown at the edges and past it's best. The staff looked cheesed off and gave the cafe...More
