Glad we chose this bar/restaurant, very quaint place with an excellent choice of ales and a fantastic choice of food, all well prepared and delivered by really friendly staff. We would recommend the Curragower to anyone visiting Limerick. Mussels in the cream sauce were to die for. Well done to you all..

Very quaint and different. Nice drink down stairs and then beautiful meal in newly refurbished restaurant upstairs. Lovely views of the river and castle at night.

Visited this restaurant on our last day of holiday. Its quality far surpassed every other meal we've had. We weren't that hungry so we split an order of fish and chips and each had a pint of Guinness. It was by far the best fish and chips I've had in Limerick and I've lived here for nearly 5 years. Also the location is wonderful right on the Shannon - highly recommend.

The hot wings were delightful. Probably the best I have had including the Usa. However with good wings you must have a bowl of warm water to clean up as you enjoy the giant portion.

My wife and I had the good fortune to visit this homely and friendly premises recently. We seated ourselves inside overlooking the majestic Shannon River with King John's Castle to be seen on the opposite bank. Having taken in the wonderful view we tucked into a delicious meal of salmon with all the trimmings. We weren't disappointed. You see fish... More
