A small restaurant, tucked away down a little alley that did not disappoint. With an outstanding reputation my expectations were high and I expected nothing but quality food and good service. These expectations were met. While I would say the portions were a bit on the small side, the quality of the food and the flavours were top notch. The... More

Attended Freddys as part of our Christmas Party last Friday night. The staff were excellent and didn't put a foot wrong for our relatively large group. Roast Pepper & Tomato soup, followed by their Fillet Steak was the order of the day - top marks!

The place has a great atmosphere and a great staff. The place was busy but we were told we could be seated in 15 minutes which gave us time to grab a local pint across the street. The upstairs portion of the space was a nice touch and the food was excellent.

The only reason we came to this place was because of its reviews. From the outside we wouldn't have even known is was open, let alone a good restaurant. The food was AMAZING and the service was superb! My wife and I walked in and they noticed that my glasses were fogging up from the cold temperature outside. They immediately... More

Freddy's lived up to it's reputation of the best restaurant in Limerick. Great meal of Hake and nut roast. Friendly and helpful staff. We'll be back.

Freddy's still does good food, but it's no where close to what is used to be a few a years ago. I don't know it the chef changed or the business strategy is to push out cheaper quality meals but something has definitely changed. When I say the above, the quality of food is still better than average so I... More

One of those meals where every part of every course is great and everone walks away happy. We were very lucky to have eaten here. It was a culinary highlight of our visit to Ireland. The menu is a good mix between innovative and classic. It gives some twists on old favourites but only adds to them. We did not... More

Had early bird dinner there last week with my husband and the food was just divine. I had the garlic mushrooms for starter. However the pork belly for mains was just delicious with just the right amount of veg and mashed potatoes and the most delicious sauce. Can't wait to go again. Service was excellent and it was also really... More

Lovely quaint Bistro just situated off main street in Limerick. Great food and service, but make sure you book, its very popular and no wonder why. Very reasonable prices too, i think it was €24.95 for 2 courses and €29.95 for 3. Great value in a City eating house. Well def visit again (hopefully!)
