I dread when friends and family arrange nights out and meals in Bru, the food is overpriced for what you get, very bland and tasteless while also very greasy, you can tell they love their microwaves. Staff are nice and friendly to customers but food is not good.

Went here for a night out before Christmas with a group of friends. Food is nothing special and like everywhere else wine overpriced for what you get. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lighting is quite low and where our table was situated made it hard to read the menu without using flashlight on our phones. On the plus side the... More

Myself and three family members visited Brú on Sat 29/04/2017. We were greeted at the door by a very pleasant, efficient young lady who showed us to our table straight away. The décor is modern and airy with plenty of light from windows which look onto the Boyne on one side and the street on the other. The waitress offered... More

Used to always visit Bru, but unfortunately myou last visit was Christmas eve, owning to the fact that I ordered the chicken dinner, and literally I got a slice of chicken served on a scoop of mash with a little veg. I was starving and disguised at the portion especially the chicken. (Perhaps they were rationing). As always the staff... More

Dear TonyB1001, Many thanks for taking the time to review your meal experience with us. We were disappointed to read that you felt that our portions were too small. Christmas Eve is one of the busiest days of the year for us yet also one of the most enjoyable as we get to be part of many family traditions of... More

I visited Bru last night with my Sons. We all opted for the 24/7 Menu. 2 of us had the seafood chowder which incurred a €2 supplement but was yummy. My Sons both had the fillet steak, incurring a €9 which was delicious. I chose the Chicken & mushroom risotto which was slimming world inspired. It was fine. Service was... More

Visited on Sunday evening with husband and baby. Had 3 course meal from 24/7 menu. Amazing food and excellent service. Asked for slight changes to dish to remove onion etc which was no problem. Excellent cocktails. Have been here on several occasions and will definitely be back

Happened on this place by chance on our way through. We didn't have a booking but the lovely hostess thankfully accommodated us. From start to finish we could not have faulted our meal. Everything was so tasty and beautiful cooked and presented. The complementary rolls at start of meal are a lovely touch and the staff are a delight. We... More

The restaurant itself was in a fantastic location (over the River Boyne) very romantic. Our server was very efficient and friendly. I ordered the Thai Green Curry which was to die for. As a curry lover I am quite picky with my curry but Bru's was excellent. The chicken wings also came in a big portion. My friend ordered the... More

Dear Denise anjela A, Many thanks for taking the time to review your meal experience with us at bru. We were delighted to hear that you enjoyed your food and the service. However we are slightly confused by your €6.45 charge, we don't charge for plain tap water, for bottled water yes we do, but not tap. If you would... More
