I recently had breakfast here and was disappointed to have tasteless scrambled eggs, two yummy but lukewarm mushrooms and half a tomato. With tea it came to £10.00!! The menu has changed and not for the better which is a shame as I loved their old menu. This is worse and it is expensive. Luckily the service very good.

Lovely food and enjoyable breakfast, the Vegetarian option is very tasty and a good alternative for a change. Service with a smile and a pleasant experience.

Dropped in for breakfast mid-morning. I was surprised how busy the place was. I had a very short wait and ended up sharing a table with two others. Otherwise I would have had to wait fir a table to become available. The menu selection is interesting with a good choice to suit your taste and hunger level. I tried the... More

The food at Rua is delicious, very over priced but always nice. But during my visit today the staff were so rude. Being friendly and kind doesn't take alot and it goes along way.

The title may not be too fair. I do eat in Rua regularly both on Spencer Street and New Antrim street. I find the food tasty and fresh... but some dishes are overpriced. Goats cheese, salad (selection of leaves, tomatoe relish and a 1/4 of pannini garluc bread for 14/15 euro....... But then you get a good breakfast for €7.00.... More

Appalling service for a mini breakfast and 3 childrens breakfasts.... ended up waiting almost an hour for the most straight forward things on the menu....will certainly not be returning. Don't waste your time or money here.

Visited one of my favourite restuarant lately . Food as usual was very wholesome and fresh . Had one problem how does it take 40 minutes to prepare salad . Place was busy but I still would think there would be a person sorting salads . . Cakes was beautiful also but had to rush it as time was running... More

Worth walking out of the centre of Castlebar to find this lovely café and deli, just opposite the court house. We had to wait for a table as the place was packed but it was worth the wait. There were three of us and we all had different main courses and different puddings. Everything was delicious and we wouldn't hesitate... More

There's an upstairs restaurant and a downstairs deli and I've had many experiences of both. Upstairs the potato and chorizo breakfast is a solid favourite of mine. My mouth waters at the thought of it. The hot chocolate with marshmallows is also an excellent choice. Downstairs the cakes and salads (as much of an oxymoron that it is to group... More

Recommended by friends who live locally, tried out Rua Deli on a day trip to Castlebar. But if a delay in getting a table, although being busy is a good sign. Once seated, service and food were excellent. Great atmosphere too.
