Menu - Excellent Service - Excellent Prices - Excellent Atmosphere - Excellent We went here on a very busy Sunday round half one. Amazingly, the queue moved smoothly along at a good pace. The tables were cleared off as soon as they came available so it was easy to find a seat. Plenty of friendly staff meant everything ran so... More

Loved dining here. Loved it so much we went back again. Typical rural pub dining with a nice variety of meals in comfort and a good ambiance. Staff were very friendly in a country sort of way. If you're staying at the Coach House, as we were, easily the best place to eat.

I ordered seafood chowder which is served with brown bread and a salad. My husband ordered fish and chips. Both were tasty and filling. The service was... More

We walked here on a rainy night from our B&B - and had the best Fish and Chips! The pub is very warm and actually quite large inside. Nice selection of draft beers and friendly people. Would come back here again.

I love going to the Holy Cross for lunch. We are frequent visitors but recently I was blown away by the quality of lunch here. I had salmon and the portion was generous, beautifully cooked and well presented. Lunch is a carvery where you line up to be served however the quality is better than in many more expensive and...
