Found the coach and Horses by accident as the road we had planned to take was closed. What a lovely surprise. We were warmly welcomed and as we were early for lunch we had coffee while we looked at the menu. I had the three cheese and bean lasagne which was very tasty, never had this before. My daughter has... More

Had lunch here with friends today, lovely old pub with cosy interior. The food was delicious, we all had chicken curry, rice and chips. The food is plentiful and nicely presented.

Visited this pub for dinner when staying in the area. All I can say is the food was terrible and fell well below expectations. The sauce served with the fish was tasteless, the chips we had were oven chips. Potatoes not seasoned, cut of meat cheap. Totally overpriced for the quality. I feel angry that we wasted so much money... More

Took my elderly mother in law there for lunch and they were so accommodating and kind. When we asked for lashings of custard - they brought an extra jug which thrilled this particular 91 year old. Mains were really good too .Good lasagna, excellent steak pie and a lovely corned beef pie too.I will definitely go back

Me and my partner stopped here on a Saturday evening after a long day walking with our dog. We found the pub on trip advisor and hadn't booked a table but luckily the staff were great and managed to fit us in. The food was lovely!!

After coming here on numerous occasions and giving it a big thumbs up to everyone we know, we decided to come here for our Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve as we were working Christmas Day. On arrival, we were given a standard menu. We told a waitress we had booked for the Christmas meal, and she then gave us the... More

What a great welcome, the food was wonderful and the service excellent. We both had pie, 2 different ones, both were very well made and under a tenner. Dessert was one of the best I have tasted. White Chocolate and Welsh Whisky tart, we had it with ice cream. Going back here again and again, because even when they seemed... More
