We arrived quite late on Friday evening as we were staying in the hotel and were seated within 15 minutes. The staff were lovely and friendly. The food was great and we didn't have to wait very long for it to arrive. I had the deep fried brie, it came in a red pepper sauce that was delicious and was... More

After afternoon event in conference hall 9 of our family had an excellent dinner. 9 people eating three courses makes 27 dishes and every one was of a high standard. One query about ingredients was handled efficiently and the element removed from the dish, Two people ordered the cheese platter to share but they were not sat near each other... More

Lovely ambient vibe, great service, good selection of food and drink, portions were good size. The only slight niggle I have is that my roast beef was a little overdone for my liking. I thought the price was pretty good, two big lunches, two pints of Peroni and a large bottle of sparkling water for £36. We didn't eat for... More

Excellent friendly evening meal!! We visited on a Sunday evening purely by accident. We went out to a Indian just up the road but it was having work done and was closed. It was quiet (which made me worry a little) but everything was fantastic. Food was well presented and very tasty. Service was great. Will definitely be returning if... More

Chose to eat here at random whilst on a overnight stay with work. Food was lovely and really well presented. 2 courses for £21 (with £6 supp for steak) The food, decoration and the fact there was a great female vocalist playing made for a great atmosphere.

Stayed here for Monday and Tuesday nights. Room was clean and well layed out. The style is an eclectic mix that works for me. Good selection of hot drinks in room. Bathroom had modern fittings and the shower over bath was excellent compared to a lot of hotels in my experience. I ate in the restaurant in the evening and... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, so ate here on one evening, and really enjoyed the food....well cooked and beautifully presented. Choices were good, we had their Prawn & crayfish cocktail, and the Lamb dish, excellent ! Service was good, attentive and friendly and was very pleasant listening to the music whilst we were dining. This is a 'Jazz music' venue,... More

We were on our way to another restaurant and happened to be passing this restaurant and stopped to have a quick look at the menu. It ticked all the boxes and more for myself being a vegetarian. As soon as we opened the door we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who gave us a choice of tables either closer... More
