Popped in with my parents on Saturday night and there was a live act on. The array of beers, cider and stouts in this place is amazing and I struggled to chose one. This is real bonus of the place but a slight downfall also when I asked for a recommendation. The bar staff really did not know what they... More

Last night we had the pleasure of sampling the new menu as they have had a revamp and had a Smoke House fitted. Wow a great evening with family at our favourite pub. The Derby Brewing Company own several establishments in the area and brew fabulous ales, some of which are used in sauces to go on the Smoke House... More

cheeky afternoon beer. Still doing the beer and cheese offer (with a side plate of chips). Clean and tidy, nice staff and a great variety of beers. Perfect afternoon beer on a rainy day

I visited the Greyhound with a friend whilst exploring the local CAMRA ale trail - a leisurely afternoon touring the best real ale pubs in Derby. The pub is traditional in feel, attracting all ages and many different types of people but offers good value food with fresh ingredients. We both ordered a burger The Hogfather for £12.50 (homemade burger,... More

I came here with 2 other couples and we all had burgers and hot dogs. The chips were homemade and really was amazing. We had a side of onion rings which were also very tasty and not too greasy as some times homemade onion rings can be. The service was quick and very friendly. The food was perfect and very... More

Have been coming to the Greyhound for a while now and after falling in love with the atmosphere, the pub garden and the incredible food we decided to have our wedding reception there. We booked the function room and the rooftop terrace which was an absolute bargain and is an amazing space. The staff were so helpful on the run... More

We did not book but we were able to find a table for all 5 of us, ordered 4 mains, one of our party just had a starter & a round of drinks & reasonably priced at just under £80.00 only downside (& why we were able to get a table) we were right beside the live entertainment which really... More
