We visited straight after work and enjoyed a lovely meal with great service. The decor is really nice and the customer service efficient and friendly without being overbearing. A good choice of menu and the food we had was delicious. I’d have no hesitation in...More

Excellent early dinner though not early bird menu so a la carte was required and appreciated. We started off with Chicken Satay for the lady and Poh Tauk for myself- a sort of Thai seafood consomme with added spice followed by Prawn Green Curry for...More

Food and service is great, but the overall ambience doesn't make it feel very relaxing. With a little more effort to improve the ambience and interior settings, this place will definitely attract more diners

Welcoming, authentic Thai spiced but not "hot" cuisine in an English environment. Good for Basingstoke.More

Thank you for this review. We tend not to overdo the heat but are always happy to spice it up for those who like it hot. They only have to ask. We do it this way as it's easier to add spice - not so...More

Rather spontaneous dinner with wife turned out to be surprisingly delicious. I am not a fun of curry but green curry with prawns completely changed my point of view. Appetisers shown on attached photo, were fresh, tender and tasty. When curry arrived, it was so...More

Many thanks for this review. I am glad we have converted you to curry, although Thai curries are different to those of South Asia. In fact, the term curry is something of a misnomer when applied to Thai dishes, although it is generally used. I...More

The food is delicious and good value for money but sometimes the service is a bit odd. I've often heard disagreements between customers and staff. One time the mgr slapped the bill on the table and when the client requested dessert they were told they...More

We were staying opposite The Lime Leaf in the Red Lion at Bank Holiday weekend and fancied a Thai meal. This place is superb. We had a nice table by the window downstairs (and in fact did not know there was an upstairs until we...More

I really love the food options here, good range that cater for the brave and more timid heat lovers... friendly staff and close to other options in town

Visited this Thai restaurant with my wife on Friday 18th August - hadn't booked but managed to get a lovely table at the top of the stairs. Service was really good and the bill was a pleasant surprise (about £50) for 2 persons with shared...More

Was more expensive than I anticipated but was still a nice meal and good service. Not ideal for people on a budget as £70 for two people with no alcohol I thought was quite a lot of money. The set menus are best avoided if...More

Thank you for this review. I don't know what you ordered but £70 for two people with no alcohol is definitely on the high side. Average spend per head (including drinks) is £19.03. The pricing of the set menus is clearly marked on the menu.
