My friends and I booked a table on a Saturday and were greeted with warmth the moment we arrived. The owner and the staff are so lovely and make sure you have a good evening with a buzzing atmosphere. I initially booked from hearing from others how great the food is, and can definitely say that the chicken karahi and... More

Got takeaway from here because it had good ratings on trip advisor, warning to anyone reading it genuinely is horrible food I don't know if they have had a new chef or change of hands since these people went here but the food was inedible.

Visited this restaurant on Saturday for a friends birthday. I shared a chicken tikka masala and chicken madras with my son and we both found it quite enjoyable. With the main course we had the usual naans, Bombay potatoes and mushroom rice. We also found these to be enjoyable. The restaurant is quite small. Service was friendly but slow. I... More

Ordered chicken tikka starter, got 4 pieces of grilled chicken. No tikka, not been cooked on a skewer in a clay oven, just plain grilled chicken, greasy too. Main course even worse, saag aloo greasy, how the hell do you burn spinach? Seriously, there are so many good curry houses in Watford, this is by far the worst I've eaten... More

Visited with my wife when staying in the Hunton Park Hotel. Restaurant about 5 mins away in the car. Saw the great reviews here so decided to visit. Had a great meal which we shared 2 curries and some sides. Tried a Bangladesh beer which was really nice and crisp. Complemented the curry perfectly. Next time we are in Watford... More

After travelling several hours from South Wales, and an extra hour in city traffic, a hot, fresh, authentic curry was just what we needed. My husband and I looked straight on Trip Advisor after arriving and immediately made way to the Saffron. We were so glad we did! Staff were friendly and there was a fantastic atmosphere, even on a... Watfords Saffron is a popular and sophisticated Indian restaurant serving unusual regional dishes alongside classic curries and just a ten minute walk from the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studio Tour. The traditional interior, with crisp white tablecloths, dark wooden chairs and white walls decorated with Indian wooden carvings and artworks, is busy with couples and groups in the evenings and increasingly with enthusiastic sightseers keenly dissecting their day spent on the pavements of Hogsmeade. Saffrons menu is a lengthy selection of fine Indian classics from throughout the countrys many and varied culinary regions. Delicately put together by the kitchens skilful team, dishes are distinctive and authentic, spiced the spices ground and mixed freshly each day - and cooked according to tradition whether originating from the sun drenched shores of Goa or from the southern fringes of Bangladesh.
