I had heard this place was good, but was completely surprised by the quality of the steak. Definitely the best I think I have ever had!

Had a nice Sunday lunch here a few weeks back. Staff were really friendly and accommodating with our two little ones. Food was lovely. Nicely decorated and furnished. Our friends are lucky to have it as their local.

Visites with friends before going to the harry potter studios. We had the cajun chicken burger, steak and fish and chips all freshly prepared, pleasent staff and friendly. Very homely atmosphere.

It's not within an ideal walking distance from The Hilton, but it's not far in a cab.

Description
New comfortable renovated pub in North Watford just 5 minutes walk from Watford Junction Station along St Albans Road. We are family friendly and have a Beer Garden behind the pub. Our Head Chef is 5 star trained and has worked at The Grove Hotel in Watford and also in 5 star properties in London. Our food is classic pub style with a smokehouse twist.
