had only one dinner what I had a few years ago there as well. I was looking forward to chicken tikka masala, but unfortunately I was not much happy. It seems that the taste was the same as I have tried tikka masala tesco box....Question is if tesco box is so good or hilton is so bad :)More
£24 for 2 courses or £27 for 3, a good choice of menu not sure if I would want to eat in the restaurant as the menu doesnt change. The food we ordered was nicely cooked and good portion size, the cheese and leek tartlet...to start was lovelyMore
We ate here and had the most attentive service from the moment we arrived. Drinks were spot on, The food was presented beautifully and really was out of this world- the sauce with my pasta dish, was fabulous. An absolutely great night. we would have...no hesitation in dining here againMore
I thought the restaurant was called 'coopers' but it didnot matter. The food was delicious,I really enjoyed the fish & chips. The desserts selection was also good. Overall the experience including the atmosphere and staff was excellent.
This is a very good restaurant, with excellent food. The service was great, and the staff were very accommodating when I asked if meals could be adapted to be suitable for vegetarians or vegans. My daughter (eight years old) added her own review: ‘The restaurant...is so good, with very good dishes and really friendly staff which are very helpful. If you’ve got kids with you, there is a children’s menu with lots of tasty dishes. I rate it 5 stars’.More
We booked online for 6.30 to be informed that the restaurant opened at 7 when we got there. It was a very nice gesture that they allowed us to eat at 6.30. they need to get their online booking service sorted. The food was very...good, we had 3 courses each which we enjoyed. Some of the portions on the small side, but good quality and well cooked. I did not give 5 stars due to the staff hanging around wanting to take our plates before we had finished each course. Otherwise very enjoyableMore
Food is bland and average typical of Hilton Hotels. A colleague ordered the vegetable Moussaka and it was really just a pile of vegetables wrapped in cabbage leaves
Where relevant, one can judge a restaurant by how it cooks ones steak. Here, Balharries failed. Medium well became well done and distracted from the fact that the meat itself was fairly good. Starters were OK, just OK and my partners pork was dangerously minimalist....I had finished my starter salad before my drink arrived. I am pretty sure they had forgotten it - and this before it got even slightly busy. The menu is overpriced but in particular the supplement of £15.50 for steak on top of already high 2/3 course prices is over the top. It need be no more than £6-7. Overall, an underperforming restaurant.More
Located in the Hilton hotel in the lovely country surrounds and golf course. Pleasant period style decor with ample space and easy access. Good menu selection. Can personally recommend the steak which was one of the best I have had around the world which was...perfectly cooked. Also I would recommend the hotels cheese board. Staff were very good especially the restaurant manager. Definitely recommend.More
Disappointing menu . Overpriced for the quality of food which was served. Prepapared fresh/frozen foods simply reheated and garnished. Not what was expected for the price.
Restaurant within the Hilton hotel. Service friendly and efficient. Not the largest menu however there was enough to offer a varied choice. Food was well presented and tasted nice. The portion size was adequate, anymore would have been a waste of food.
The food was cooked to order and was cooked ok, nothing special. restaurant has no atmosphere, very expensive for portions but you are paying for the location which is lovely & Staff are not very attentive.
We ate in this restaurant on one night during a recent short stay at the Hilton Puckrup Hall. We can best describe our experience as: "Decent helping of well cooked and favourable food served by efficient and friendly staff" What more can you ask for?
Pleasant surroundings good choice on the set menu, room to move, not crowded close tables like some restaurants all enjoyed our 3 course set meal. Would recommend to anyone as we had good value for money and excellent quality
