We ate here on a Saturday for lunch, and my first observation is that parking was an issue. I had to circle the area twice to find a parking space a five minute walk from the restaurant. The restaurant itself is comfortable, bright and airy. Sadly the servers where not quite of the same disposition. They initially came across as... More

Arranged lunch on Mothers Day - of which we were presented with their Mothers Day menu, which was predominantly English dishes. The food was very good. A couple of the young waiters didn't seem to have their mind on the work - they could certainly learn a thing or two from the Italian maitre- d. Overall enjoyable but would have... More

Booked for 12 but changed to 8 people and there was no problems. Arrived and was welcomed by very friendly members of staff and they offered to take our coats. Some of the party ate from the set menu which was fantastic value for the quality of the food. A service charge of 10% was added to the bill but... More

We visited as a couple for our wedding anniversary, service was fast and attentive. There wasn't anything on the set menu that we fancied, so we ordered al la carte. We both ordered the calamari starter (£7) - portion was generous, served with salad and dressing. For our main course we then had the duck ragu (£14) which my husband... More

Couldn't have asked for more...the welcome, the table set up, the care and attention, making the small ones of the group feel as welcome as the older ones and the food was 5star in it's self with a chef visit to the table both during and after. All of this making a very special evening for a 50th wedding anniversary... More

Received a warm friendly welcome on arrival and our coats were taken to a cloak room as we were shown to the table. Complimentary bread, olives and oil and balsamic vinegar dip were supplied while we perused the menu. The food was top notch and I would recommend the lambs kidney starter if its available as this was a special... More

I hired Giovanni's for a birthday party. From start to finish - the team were first class. The food and service on the day for the entire party was excellent, including my youngest two year old to the in laws. Service across the entire day was warm, friendly and well timed. The food was even better than I hoped. Seriously... More

We visited on a busy Saturday night. Food was absolutely delicious and having previously worked in Italy, some of the most authentic I've eaten back in Britain! Service was polite and staff were friendly, but we were made to feel very overlooked in comparison to fellow diners on other tables who were obviously regulars, and were better looked after. Audibly... More
