Was really looking forward to our afternoon tea but sandwiches didn't taste fresh and were very bland. Good selection of teas but wasn't impressed by the service. Just very average unfortunately.

My wife took me here for a light lunch, and it turned into a perfect summer afternoon tea. The restaurant looks chintzy but it is classy, tidy, and welcoming. The staff and owner ensure everyone is made to feel special. It's a great venue for...More

Came in here with my sister one afternoon, both ordered scones and english breakfast tea. The scones were enormous and tasted off (too much yeast?) while the tea had an unpleasant musty taste. However our young waitress was so nice that we felt uncomfortable complaining...More

I'm gf so haven't eaten a cream tea for around five years. A little pricey as I would expected two scones for what I paid but otherwise delightful

Afternoon tea for £13 with a tray of sandwiches,a pot of tea and and huge slice of cake is incredibly good value. The owners are nice. Great for a girly get together. Make sure to book as it can be busy and is quite small.

Description
Vintea's tearoom is a quintessentially English tea room, providing a large selection of award winning loose leaf teas and coffees, locally baked cakes, scones, breads and paninis, all served on vintage china. Vinteas has a very relaxed informal atmosphere, the Nina Campbell Parakeet wallpaper is an excellent foil for Annie Sloan painted furniture and the 'vintage' music playing gently in the background helps complete the scene. So come for breakfast , brunch, lunch ... Or try one of our popular Afternoon Teas. Reservation for afternoon tea is advisable weekends. We allow 2 hours for afternoon tea. Private Hire is also available
