We had a wonderful evening here. The ambiance and service were 5*. The young staff couldn't have been better. The food was reasonably priced and the criticisms minor. My starter of potted salmon and crab tasted great, but instead of lovely plain bread to spread...More

What should have been a fun family get together for my father's birthday was let down by terrible service and some very bland food. First off they weren't busy - we were the only people in the restaurant presumably due to recent poor weather. The...More

Off the beaten track, but well worth a visit. Food excellent, need to book if your not prepared to wait for a table. Lovely Restaurant on the back, play area great for the children. Staff pleasant and attentive.

Was here recently for a special friends wake. The pub itself seems very quaint and quirky, I almost fell through the door on the way in (could do with a crash mat on the floor for unsuspecting patrons!). I wasn't able to enjoy all the...More

Went at lunch time few weeks ago. 2 of us tried 6 different starters and 3 (or 4 ) desserts. Every dish was well presented and very tasty, but the soup was sublime. Will go again hopefully soon.

Called in with my partner for a quick drink, it's worth a little visit if you are in the area! Good range of drinks and the staff were welcoming. Would visit again!

They change them on each order. Try the 13% cloudy cider. It's straight from the barrel and can be warm on a hot day.
