Service charge was added to already very overpriced drinks and bar meals (for what you get) without any notification or option given whatsoever. Only noticed on receipt when got home. Daylight robbery. I don't mind paying a tip for good service but the overpriced drinks...More

This is not pub food as many places move away from traditional pub grub, but if you're looking for that in between fodder, then this is a great spot. Fish n chip batter was amazingly light and fish fresh and perfectly cooked. Deserts were awesome,...More

We stopped here for lunch and were very impressed, would definitely recommend the pulled pork and fennel coleslaw sandwich and the smoked salmon, very reasonably priced!

Lovely surroundings, good food, experience soured slightly as there is a 10% service charge on your final bill. This is detailed on the menu, however not normal for a British menu, possibly catering for foreign tourists. Would not visit again.

Hi, we went there again last night and saw a flyer on the bar, they are open on XMas day. £70.00 a head I think.

The menu is made with sustainable local produce including fruits and vegetables from nearby farms, Cotswold beef, Gloucester Old Spot pork and plenty of game from local shoots. Whether you want to enjoy a pint of real ale in the bar near the roaring-log fire or dine on classic dishes in the candlelit and intimate restaurant, the team look forward to welcoming you.
