... is how I'd describe last nights trip to Coriander. Normally I avoid being a hater / troll but folk should know what they're getting. First , overpriced - 2 lagers, a cider and a coke. How much? £8. £10. Try £15. A coke poured from a multipack bottle will set you back £2.80. There's no value there. Second... stressful.... More

Me and my friend love coming to Coriander! The food is absolutely outstanding, like no other curry house in the area, and the staff are so helpful and friendly - the best in the area without a shadow of a doubt! Even though this restaurant is slightly more expensive than it's nearby competitors, you certainly get what you pay for!

This restaurant takes Indian food to a new level. It is presented superbly , tastes delicious and is very high quality. Combine this with a high class environment and excellent service and you have something special.

We've been here a few times now and every time in really good!! The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is really really good!! Love the chutney tray and the mains are always delicious. We don't live in the area but we sometimes pop by to go to this restaurant. They do a good selection of gluten free,... More

The food is delicious, they do the usual currys - jalfrezi, rogan josh etc but also have a vast range of specials which we normally eat from. The food tastes very fresh and not at all heavy. It is a bit more expensive than other curry houses in the area and the service can be a bit hit or miss... More

Coriander used to be great. It's not. Food is inedible and service is very poor. We went in September and thought we'd try again. It's definitely changed hands. A real shame.

I love coriander curry! I'm veggie and just spoiled for choice. I tend to go for the paneer dishes with quite a few sides, aloo saag is one of my faves too. Only disappointment is that the peshwari naan isn't great.

Absolutely not! When it comes to Asian food in Manchester, we are snobs. We are used to The Great Kathamndu - our favourite restaurant EVER - which is Nepalese. We often walk/drive by coriander and are put off by the garish bright lights of green which mirror the typical flashy Indian restaurants dotted in Manchester. We were so wrong and... More

On arrival we did get popadoms immediately, however then had to wait around 10 mins for our drink order to be taken (not BYOB, which most in Manchester aren't to be fair). Drinks then took around another 10 mins to arrive, and taking the food order around another 10 mins later. However, not to be put off - the food... More
